I came across an interesting verse as I was reading the account of Nathan relaying God’s will about the temple to David in which I was intrigued by Nathan’s thinking. In 1 Chr 17:2 Nathan responds to David’s concern about a lack of a proper home for the ark as David sits in his palace:

It’s always interesting to me to read through passages that highlight very human emotions and responses that the great Biblical figures—such as David—experienced.
